Portfolio
What types of portfolios are there
The starter portfolio should contain the
following:
- A copy
of the parent or legal guardians High School Diploma or
GED
- Attendance Record

- Grades K-6 should have a section in
the portfolio labeled with the following subjects: Reading, Writing,
Mathematics, Science, and Social studies. This
can be done with dividers.
- Grades 7-12 should have a section in
the portfolio labeled with the following subjects: Reading, Writing,
Mathematics, Science, Social studies, composition and literature.
This can be done with dividers.
- A plan book, diary, or
other record (Click
for our free, printable, 1st
semester planner and the 2nd
semester planner) indicating
subjects taught and activities in which the student and parent-teacher
engage.
- Place samples of the student's academic
work in the section of the portfolio labeled with the following
subjects: Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social studies, and
in (Grades 7-12) composition and literature.
- A semiannual progress report

attendance records and individualized documentation of the student's
academic progress in each of the basic instructional areas of Reading,
Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social studies, and in (Grades 7-12)
composition and literature.
- A copy of your End of the Year Statement of
Compliance form, (Click
here for our End of the Year Statement of Compliance form.)
which you have sent into your association;
- Always make a copy of all association
applications and paperwork, which you may have, and place the copies in the
portfolio as well.
- You may add anything else to your portfolio.
The above information and forms are all you need in your portfolio.
