Call to Action Alert! Dorchester County DSS, Summerville, South Carolina on February 17, 2009, placed (2) two children, baby girl - age (22)twenty-two months and (4) four years of age, in the home of their step-grandfather that was convicted at age 42 of "CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT WITH MINORS", instead of placing them with the children father who has NO priors or placing them into foster care. The registered sex offender can not be licensed as a foster home in the State of South Carolina. Once we confirmed this story to be factual and that Dorchester County DSS continued to support said action by leaving the children in the family relative placement of a registered sex offender,we contacted Dorchester County South Carolina Sheriff's Department who informed us that once the registered sex offender had completed his prison, parole/probation sentence, there is nothing in South Carolina's law that prevents DSS from placing any child into the home of a registered sex offender! Please take ACTION by contacting your State Representative and demand a Bill be introduced and passed into law ASAP, which prevents South Carolina Department of Social Services from ever being legally allowed to place any child into any registered sex offender home!

Give home schools MANDATED by law the option of home schooling completely as SC code of Law Section 59-65-47 specifically states, with out having to provide more information and mandates not required by law.
